Warlimpirrnga Tjapaltjarri - Yellow

Warlimpirrnga grew up in the traditional lifestyle of the Western Desert people in the country around Lake Mackay/Wilkinkarra. When in his mid 20s and after some family losses, Warlimpirrnga and his half brother Piyirti, were sent to look for his long lost relations. In October 1984, the brothers encountered Pinta Pinta Tjapanangka and his son, fixing a flat tyre near Kiwirrkurra. Size 180x152cm
