Wenten Rabuntja - Untitled 1

Wenten was an Arrente law man who had many positions throughout his life, from stockman and cowboy to historian, storyteller, committee and board member to great artist. His art crossed from the water colours similar to that of the great Albert Namatjira, through to the now conventional dot work of other Papunya or Western Desert artists.
He was also awarded the Order of Australia medal. Size 52x29cm
