Jeannie Ptyarre - Untitled

Jeannie Ptyarrewas born near Boundary Bore Outstation outside Utopia in central Australia. She is the neice to the late Emily Kame Kngwarreye who encouraged her to start painting her families Yam Dreaming. Jeannie paints Yam seeds, Yam leaf, Yam flower Dreaming and other aspects of her country. She is a mid career artist that is becoming more sought after with her bright colours and intricate patterns.
