George 'Hairbrush' Tjungurrayi - Tingari 3

George Hairbrush is a dominant figure in the desert art movement and was one of the original members of the art movement. He has a lineage of artists with his sisters being Naata Nungurrayi, one of the greats, and Nancy Nungurrayi, also a well known artist. George has developed a minimalist style of  painting that through abstract visual mastery creates a pulsing with a subtle optical rhythm using transverse lines. Size 208x119cm
