Henry Wambini - Nowlenji

Henry Wambini was born south of Turkey Creek/ Warmun at Tickelara near Purnululu or the Bungles, and this is the focus of his paintings. He suffered from leprosy which disrupted his life. Henry met up with Jack Britten and they helped form the Warmun art movement. His art consists of thick ochre, and he blended various colours to get the outcome he was looking for. Size 90x80cm
