Kevin Waina - Gwiongwion 1

Kevin Waina has lived most of his life in Kalumburu in the north Kimberley, but was born in Wyndham in 1954. He is a very articulate man and has in in depth knowledge of culture and stories and he is willing to share these in his paintings. He is the foremost artist of Bradshaw art (Gwion Gwion) found on rock in that Kimberley. He also paints Wallarwhroo, which is a white figure similar to Wandjina figures. Size 133x65cm
