Harold Thomas - Falcons

Harold is best known for designing the Australian Aboriginal flag in 1971 as a symbol of the Aboriginal land rights movement. Harold, or Bundoo, studied fine arts at the South Australian school of the arts in the 1960s and graduated with Honours in 1971. He moved back to the NT in 1972 and began painting the landscape and its plants and wildlife using water-colours, but also used oils and acrylics. Size 105x75cm
