Ivan Namirrki - Crocodile

Ivan Namirrki's work holds a special place in my collection as one of the first artists from Arnhemland that I purchased, and have continue to pursue. His art is cross hatch Rarrk and is very precise. His older works were of the Rainbow Serpent and the many animals associated with these stories such as Barramundi, Kangaroo, snake, turtle and goanna, as well as the malevolent spirit beings from his country.
