Josie Petrick Kemarre is a mid career artist and one of my absolute favourites, as you will see in the number of works I have purchased. She is the granddaughter of the late Emily Kame Kngwarreye, and has been painting for more than four decades. Josie inherited some of the dreaming stories from Emily Kame, and they tend to depict an association with women’s ceremonies and bush tucker dreaming, with elaborate dot overlays. Size 150x90cm
